Mexican white tiles. Those are the most Mexican tiles you will find on the market. They are off white with some creamy tone making them looking antique. Production of white tiles in Mexico begins from forming a talavera tile and whishing it with the paint which doesn't cover the surface 100%. Instead, some clay is visible through semitransparent paint. Mexican white tiles will haze developing small spider web cracks. You can either cover them by using white or expose with darker grout. |

white talavera tiles
or a long time we were planning our next renovation. We always knew it was going to be hacienda style with Spanish tiles used as accents. In time our project involved to the point we decided to cover most our bathroom and kitchen walls with hand painted Mexican tiles. The entire surface was white with some colonial style accent tiles between them. Those white Mexican tiles look way more rustic than they appear on the photo and that what we wanted so no complaints. Instead we have a pleasure to award Mexican-tile.net five star review for their involvement with our renovation project.
